Can sessions be conducted online?

Yes absolutely. Provided that you can create a calm space in your own environment, sessions can be just as effective online.

Will I lose control in hypnosis?

As you relax deeply you drift into a state of hypnosis. It is similar to when you’re walking or reading, and your mind wanders. However, as soon as someone says your name you regain attention. Therefore, you are not unconscious and always remain in control.

What if I can't be hypnotised?

My experience is that everyone who wants to be hypnotised can easily experience a light hypnotic trance. This is sufficient to do most of the work we will need to do. Some people will achieve deeper trances, too. If you want to be hypnotised then you can achieve it.

Can you guarantee results?

No hypnotherapy treatment can guarantee results, because for hypnotherapy to be effective it requires your commitment and a desire to change. The majority of our clients leave the sessions feeling happy, calm and confident.

How will it feel?

People are often surprised by how normal trance feels. Different people experience trance differently, and there is no right way or wrong way. If you have ever zoned out whilst reading a good book or lost track of time while listening to a podcast, then you have already been in a “hypnotic trance.” Hypnosis is a perfectly natural meditative state that we pass through every night in the early stages of falling asleep. Most people report feeling deeply relaxed and calm after the session.

What can hypnotherapy treat?

Hypnotherapy can treat a wide range of unwanted issues. If your problem is irrational and you are unable to fix it, then hypnotherapy can help. It can be extremely effective in resolving physical and emotional problems. If you have questions or concerns about how hypnotherapy can help your specific issue, we can discuss this in the initial consultation.

How many sessions will I need?

Clients often start noticing beneficial changes after the first session. The average total sessions is 8-12 sessions, however the number of sessions varies as it is dependent on the client. This will be assessed in the initial consultation.

Is it suitable for children?

Absolutely! It usually takes far less sessions for a child than an adult, and it can also be really effective for teenagers.
